Gigi 6 months...Part Deux

 She's REACHING for more and apparently I'm not quick enough because she just started screaming and crying...

And then we were all smiles again!!Whew!!

Gigi's 6 month Dr. Visit....

Gianna's 6 month doctor visit was on Monday, September 27th.  She weighed in at 17lbs 15oz (90%) percentile, Height is 26 inches (75%), and her little itty bitty head at 16.5 inches (50th%) Dr. G couldn't believe she has 4 teeth already AND is crawling, he said she's advanced!! Must be the milk!! He told me to start her on solids (boo!) she is growing up so quickly I literally feel like I was just pregnant yesterday and now she is crawling and pulling up and I swear she is going to walk any day now.  As Mimi stated, this girl has somewhere to go!!

One Rough Week...

This has been quite a week in the Gray household! 

Monday started off with my son thinking he is Michaelangelo with his poop.  Yes his POOP, he took his diaper off in the morning and played and painted with it.  He went down for a nap that afternoon after I had stripped everything down and washed and cleaned and he did it again.  I'm not quite sure what his fascination is with it but its got to STOP.

Tuesday was met with milestones and heartache.  Gianna started full on crawling.  She also had her very first taste of food (rice cereal)! My baby girl is growing right before my eyes and sooo quickly. Later that evening I found out a good friend of mine from high school and beyond had suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 32 1/2. Michael and I both knew Bryan and he was a fun-loving good ole boy. 

Wednesday, Celebrate Life. My best friend Cristina's little sister Kat (who is like my own little sister) had her very first baby; Maddison Cristina McClure. Congratulations to her and Evans I saw her very first picture and she is truly beautiful.  I am hoping to get up to Baylor Frisco tonight and see that sweet baby girl.
  I also received the tickets I won for the Yo Gabba Gabba Live Concert in Dec. at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco.  We have 4 tickets and they are really good seats...floor ; up close and personal.  I just know the twins are gonna love it.  Since it happens to be 2 days before their 2nd birthday, I'm thinking this years birthday theme will be.....Yo Gabba Gabba!! How fun!!

Today is Thursday and for some reason this week has seemed like a life time and just a really hard week for me mentally and emotionally.  I feel like this week is never going to end.  I am happy to celebrate Gianna's 6 month birthday, but that alone makes me wanna curl up and cry.  I realize that this post isn't my usual fun-loving post but such is life.

I Heart Faces--"Smirk" Contest....

Love this contest, because Isabella loves to smirk.  I have tons of pictures of her, not wanting to smile but when she gives in, its sly and smirky!! :D  This picture really represents that because this was the week her new baby sister came and she really wasn't to sure about her and the best picture she took with her was this one, with the "Smirk"!



She has that, "when mom turns around your gonna get it look", but for now I'll pretend to wanna be in this picture!

Gianna's 3rd Tooth~

Thursday, September 16, 2010:

Gianna's top tooth broke through~ :D We've been waiting for it for a good month now, next up her other top tooth should be following.

Mid September Updates...



Isabella had another bout of sickness this past weekend, (fever, vomiting, and rash) took her to one of those acute kid clinics (good for nothing unless your kid needs stitches FYI) I got her in to see Dr. Guetersloh on Monday and he checked her blood and it was perfectly normal and he thinks she's just had a bad few weeks. She got sick in August and then was fine and turned around this past weekend and sick again.  I believe she is on the mend, not 100% yet but were hopeful.  Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our little angel, it sure puts things in perspective and makes you thankful. Not the happiest blog but I want to have notes/pics to refer back to regarding her being sick in case I need them later. These days you have to be your own and your childs own healthcare advocate!!

Rash started behind her ears and moved to the trunk of her body! :(

A Gia Milestone....

As of Friday, September 10th, 2010 Gianna Micaela is sitting up all by herself.  She can go from her tummy and push herself up into a sitting position and stay there without falling over!! YAY!! Such a  BIG accomplishment for our little 5.5 month old....
